History, Price and included items:
Cony trucks were made by The Aichi machine company of Japan. Aichi still builds engines for cars today but Nissan purchased Aichi in the late 60s. The small trucks continued after Nissans purchase for a few years. The Cony 360 wide was offered in several body styles - truck, box van and passenger van. Most Cony trucks imported to the US went to large sites for yard work or light industrial work. This Cony was originally owned by Oregon state university. This truck was originally white. The previous owner had the brakes repaired, a new windshield installed, the seats reupholstered and the frame detailed.
We are currently rebuilding the engine with hardened valves. Washington state requires all trucks to be weighed before they can be titled. As soon as this truck can drive to the scale it will be titled. Offered at $3500 with a rebuilt engine, clear title and our reproduction lenses. |
