This Mazda Chantez was purchased in Japan in 2003 and imported to the US in 2004. Before importation a automotive repair shop owned the car and used it to advertise their service. The Japanese text on the passenger door states the service name and city.
All the service records and original sales information including the owners manual are included with the car. Everything is in Japanese since the Chantez was not exported.
The Chantez represents Mazda's last 360cc Kei class car. The rumor in Japan is that Mazda planned a rotary engine for the Chantez but the government would not allow the rotary engine in a Kei class car.

This is a well maintained car that is road ready and titled in Washington state. There is no evidence of any major collisions or body damage. There is minor surface rust from rock chips. The A/C unit requires new hoses and a recharge.
We don't have any parts to include in the sale but this Chantez does have a factory Hitachi A/C unit.
