Cony Frame information  

 

Front suspension: A system of upper and lower A-arms with coil springs and shock absorbers.

 

Front brakes: Drum brakes with split wheels on the 360 Wide and solid wheels on the Light, one 5/8” wheel cylinder per wheel.

Engine: Located behind the cab in the 360 Wide series or under the seat in the Light series. Master cylinder: Located beneath the cab and beside the siderail with a separate reservoir in the cabin for the Wide series. Located on the 'firewall' with an attached reservoir on the Light series.
     
 

Battery: Positioned to the side of the engine on the passenger side.

 
 

Oil tank: Located behind or to the side of the engine on the driver side. This frame show the placement for the 360 Light series.

         
       

Muffler: Sited before the rear axle inline with the frame on early models, perpendicular with the frame on later models. Note that this is an older frame with the muffler oriented with the body of the truck.

   
 

Rear brakes: Drum brakes with split wheels on the 360 Wide and solid wheels on the Light, one ¾” wheel cylinder per wheel.

         
       

Rear suspension: A set of semi elliptical leaf springs.

   

Wheels: 10 inch diameter by 5 inch wide wheels standard, 8 inch wide wheels offered as an option for the 360 Wide series. The 360 Wide uses split wheels and the Light uses one piece steel wheels, both require tubes and are 4 bolt. The Light series uses 12 inch wheels.

Rear axle: Located below the leaf springs, 7” differential.

Fuel tank: Positioned at the rear of the frame, 6 gallon capacity.
